Thrussington
We designed nine new homes for a rural site in Leicestershire in a traditional vernacular style. A new and robust architectural language has been developed in response to historic local architecture and character.
Expressive brick detailing includes brick arches, soldier coursing, corbelling, mullions, and a sheltered arched colonnade porch area that demarcates the entrance. These details are incorporated into orderly elevational compositions alongside contemporary features such as large panels of glazing, and recessed terraces.
An outline planning application has recently been submitted for the project.
