Projects
Brick has worked on a variety of residential architectural projects including new build homes, whole house refurbishments, restoration of listed properties, conversion and change of use, and large-scale housing developments.
Brick Architects are a young, vibrant and dynamic RIBA Chartered Practice based in London and the south-east. We offer full architectural and design services across all RIBA stages. We believe: Successful residential architecture relies foremost on understanding the unique requirements of each homeowner. We are always excited to meet new clients, homeowners and developers because of the imagination and wealth of knowledge each offers. It is important that we carefully review, understand and develop your ideas into a brief. Brick recognise the value of identifying opportunity at the early stages of a project. A well-researched brief will lead to successful outcomes. It is usually the initial creative ideas, however vague, loosely formed or conceptual, that define architecture. Brick can both capture and create the ideas that distinguish a building project. Architecture relies on the qualities of patience, diplomacy and negotiation, especially when navigating the UK’s complex planning system. We seek to build relationships with local authorities to get the consents you require. Building work is usually complicated and often confusing. Brick are knowledgeable and experienced at delivering projects. Great buildings are crafted by skilled builders who are reliant on clear and workable architectural drawings. We place great value on this relationship and enjoy working with builders, carpenters, joiners and all specialists in delivering the initial vision. The building project journey does not end when the builder finishes their work. Brick are dedicated architects that will assist in resolving any post-build issues. We are keen to create robust, long-lasting architecture and relationships with clients. It is also both interesting and useful hearing how our designs and homeowners develop over time.
